Baseball Preview: Reed Raiders vs. Spanish Springs Cougars
Reed and Spanish Springs are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2020, but likely not for long. Reed will head out on the road to square off against Spanish Springs at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Reed proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Damonte Ranch 3-2. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Chase Spencer tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Bailey Moss was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Nicholas Leonard also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.
