Football Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bellevue's offense. They took a blow against the Perkins Pirates on Friday, falling 41-0. The loss continues a trend for the Redmen in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost four in a row.

Perkins had a senior duo take command as Sam Schweinfurth threw for 257 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 79.3% of his passes and Blake Parker picked up 153 receiving yards and one score.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Perkins, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Bellevue wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-14 loss against Edison on the 26th. As for Perkins, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-14 win against Clyde on the 26th.
