Soccer Recap: Deerfield Beach Victorious

On MondayHallandale kept up with Deerfield Beach until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Deerfield Beach Bucks' defense stepped up to hand the Hallandale Chargers a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bucks needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

They hit Hallandale with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Spencer Lordeus (2), Lucas Goncalves, and Davi Machado.

Deerfield Beach's win bumped their record up to 10-5-2. As for Hallandale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

Deerfield Beach wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Piper on the 14th. Hallandale has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Plantation on the 14th.
