Soccer Preview: Streaking Paramus Faces Slumping Teaneck

The Paramus Spartans will take on the Teaneck Highwaymen at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Paramus has three straight victories, Teaneck has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Paramus is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Hoboken by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Paramus with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Teaneck didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with NV - Demarest last Wednesday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 1-0 defeat last Wednesday.

Paramus now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Teaneck, they now have a losing record at 0-1.
