Baseball Game Preview: Rusk Eagles vs. Hudson Hornets

For the second straight game, Rusk will face off against Hudson. The Eagles will square off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rusk's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Hudson's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Rusk fell victim to Hudson and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Eagles have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

For Hudson's part, their victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Bonacci, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI. Levi Slatter was another, going 2-for-4 with one RBI.

The win was the third in a row for Hudson, bringing their record up to 10-9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rusk, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
