Softball Recap: Elsie Allen Lobos vs. Ukiah Wildcats
Elsie Allen had lost 13 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-9 to make it 14. They came up short against the Ukiah Wildcats, falling 24-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-0 on April 3rd.
As for Ukiah, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-1 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.8 runs.
For Ukiah's part, Taylor Allen made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched.
