Basketball Recap: William Johnson Key Part of a Team Effort in Saints Win

There's no place like home for St. Andrew's Episcopal, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-32 victory over the Raleigh Lions on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Saints: when they faced off against the Lions back in January, they had to take a 60-56 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Andrew's Episcopal to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Johnson has become a key player for St. Andrew's Episcopal: the team is 8-4 when he posts at least ten boards, but 3-7 otherwise. Warwick Alley was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

The win got St. Andrew's Episcopal back to even at 11-11. As for Raleigh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-16.

As of now, neither St. Andrew's Episcopal nor Raleigh have any future games scheduled.
