Softball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem's last matchup with Columbia could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. Salem lost 13-0 to Columbia. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since February 22, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Salem dropped their record down to 9-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Columbia, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will welcome Tylertown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
