Eastlake and Coronado are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Thunderbirds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastlake will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Friday, Eastlake made easy work of Pebble Hills and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Eastlake was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Coronado got the win against Socorro on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Coronado walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Eastlake, their win bumped their record up to 28-3.

Everything went Eastlake's way against Coronado in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Eastlake made off with a 3-0 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Thunderbirds' Danielle Gutierrez, who had 19 digs. Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for the Falcons to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
