Basketball Game Preview: Wright City Lumberjax vs. Lone Grove Longhorns

The Wright City Lumberjax will head out to face off against the Lone Grove Longhorns at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Wright City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Friday, Wright City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Varsity Opponent, but they still walked away with a 66-60 victory.

Kase Lindly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 for 19 on his way to 27 points in addition to six boards and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayner Beene, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Meanwhile, Lone Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 54-50 to Madill. The Longhorns have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Lone Grove now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Wright City, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
