The Garden County Eagles will challenge the South Platte Blue Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Garden County is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
Last Friday, Garden County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over Leyton. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Garden County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wilsie Lobner, who en route to 18 points and seven boards. Lobner continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Javis Underwood was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds.
Garden County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led South Platte over Sutherland in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that South Platte blew Sutherland out of the water with a 63-30 final score. The Blue Knights pushed the score to 43-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Sailors had little chance of recovering from.
Garden County better keep an eye on Quinten Koenen. He was instrumental in South Platte's win, almost dropping a double-double with 30 points and nine boards. They are 13-6 when Koenen posts 15 or more points, but 1-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Jacobs, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.
South Platte is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. Garden County pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Garden County has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.5 boards per game. However, it's not like South Platte struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Garden County came up short against South Platte in their previous meeting back in January, falling 42-37. Can Garden County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
