Softball Recap: Immanuel Christian's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Immanuel Christian waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 23-5 margin over the Lee Vining Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 back in March.

Chloe Loughlin was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Holly Cosner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Immanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Lee Vining, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Immanuel Christian has already played their next match, a 22-0 win against Lone Pine on the 7th. As for Lee Vining, they will host Mojave at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.91 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
