 Edsel Ford had to endure  a  five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by  a  16-3 margin over the Dearborn Pioneers on Friday. That's more bragging rights for Edsel Ford, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 For Dearborn's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Niveen Sleiman, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Edsel Ford's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Dearborn, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 12 of their last 14 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edsel Ford will take on Trenton at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Trenton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10  runs per game  this season. As for Dearborn, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Brighton at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Brighton is coming into the  game with three straight  wins on the road,  so Dearborn will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
