Volleyball Recap: Rock Academy Wins Going Away Against Canyon Hills

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rock Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Canyon Hills Rattlers. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Rattlers back in August, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Alexa Baird paced Rock Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Baird got some help from Daniella Lara and her 28 assists. Brooke Rodrigues controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rock Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Canyon Hills, they moved to 16-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Rock Academy nor the Rattlers have any future games scheduled.
