Basketball Recap: Trinidad Comes Up Short

If Trinidad was riding high fresh off their 47-24 takedown of Sangre de Cristo last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trinidad Miners were beaten by the Sanford Mustangs 49-22 on Tuesday. The Miners have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Trinidad's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Sanford, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

As of now, neither Trinidad nor Sanford have any future games scheduled.
