Softball Game Preview: Africentric Early College Nubians vs. Columbus International Lions

The Africentric Early College Nubians will head out on the road to challenge the Columbus International Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Africentric Early College has given up an average of 17.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Africentric Early College and Eastmoor Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Nubians came up short against the Warriors on Friday, falling 18-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Nubians in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Columbus International lost 34-14 to Northland on Monday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbus International's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Africentric Early College, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.
