Baseball Game Preview: Annapolis Area Christian Eagles vs. Indian Creek Eagles

Annapolis Area Christian will head out on the road to take on Indian Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Annapolis Area Christian couldn't beat St. Mary's last Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Eagles fell 9-6 to the Saints. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost six in a row.

Andrew Hammond was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Cobb, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Glenelg Country.

Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Annapolis Area Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Annapolis Area Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Indian Creek in their previous meeting back in March, winning 14-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for Annapolis Area Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
