Radford took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the George Wythe Maroons by a score of 31-20. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bobcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Maroons are ranked 128th).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Radford will welcome Giles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for George Wythe, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Fort Chiswell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
