Recap: St. Paul Cardinals vs. Sacred Heart Indians
The St. Paul Cardinals lost against the Sacred Heart Indians last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. St. Paul took a serious blow against Sacred Heart, falling 81-53. St. Paul was down 63-40 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Sacred Heart's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nic Angerstein, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Angerstein is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least six every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Andrew Steffek, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds.
St. Paul has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Sacred Heart, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-6.
St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sacred Heart also has no future games currently scheduled.
