Basketball Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point lost against Portsmouth back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The South Point Pointers had to suffer through a 56-17 loss at the hands of the Portsmouth Trojans. The match marked the Pointers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

South Point's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for Portsmouth, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

South Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-14 defeat against Fairland on the 16th. As for Portsmouth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-34 win against Chesapeake on the 16th.
