Softball Recap: Boston Latin Academy Comes Up Short

Boston Latin Academy fell victim to Marblehead and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Magicians by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Magicians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

Boston Latin Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Andrade, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Andrade is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Boston Latin Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Marblehead, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boston Latin Academy will venture away from home to challenge Boston Latin at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marblehead, they will challenge Winthrop at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
