Volleyball Recap: Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. Bethel Christian Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-10, 25-21.

Sam Karel paced Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Karel got some help from Abby Garrett and her 12 assists. Haven Breen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 28-21. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Bethel Christian Academy nor Mount Pisgah Christian have any future games scheduled.
