Basketball Recap: Cranbrook Kingswood Takes a Loss

Cranbrook Kingswood suffered their closest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of the Loyola Bull Dogs by a score of 67-65. The Cranes lost against the Bull Dogs in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-44 score last time.

Cranbrook Kingswood dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Loyola, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Cranbrook Kingswood and Lutheran North will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cranbrook Kingswood is facing Lutheran North at the right time seeing as Lutheran North is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Loyola, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-47 defeat against Northville on the 14th.
