Converse won the last time they faced Florien and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Blackcats by a score of  6-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wildcats.
Florien's batters probably weren't too happy with  Cameron Durr, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up 13 Ks (he gave up two walks). Durr has been consistent  for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Riley Norman was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Eli Smith was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
Converse's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Florien,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Converse will face off against Anacoco at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Florien, they will challenge Negreet at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
