Football Game Preview: Clarinda vs. West Central Valley

On Friday West Central Valley take on Clarinda at 7:00 PM. West Central Valley have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Clarinda are surely hoping to exploit.

Things haven't been easy for West Central Valley, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They lost to Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey by a decisive 8-26 margin.

Meanwhile, Clarinda suffered a grim 6-28 defeat to Mt. Ayr last Friday. Clarinda were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
