Volleyball Game Preview: South El Monte Eagles vs. West Covina Bulldogs

South El Monte is on a three-game streak of home losses, and West Covina a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The South El Monte Eagles will look to defend their home court against the West Covina Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m.

Last Friday, South El Monte came up short against Mountain View and fell 3-1.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 27-25, 28-26.

Meanwhile, West Covina had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Covina on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th.

West Covina not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Covina between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-13.

West Covina's win bumped their record up to 6-19. As for South El Monte, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
