Sauk Rapids-Rice came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Alexandria Cardinals. This was payback for the Storm, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sauk Rapids-Rice was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-9, 25-18.

Josie Anderson paced Sauk Rapids-Rice's offense, picking up 15 kills. Anderson got some help from Aubrey Marketon and her 19 assists. Anderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emma Sundby, each putting up three.

Sauk Rapids-Rice's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Alexandria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
