 Parkland entered their tilt with Hazleton Area with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-6  win over the Hazleton Area Cougars  on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for Parkland, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 The team  relied heavily on  Connor Gerhart, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Klotz, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Parkland is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record  this season. As for Hazleton Area, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 6-4.
