There's no place like home for Waynesboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Staunton Storm on Thursday as they made off with a 23-2 win. This was a revenge game for the Little Giants: when they faced off against the Storm back in April, they had to take a 29-19 defeat.

Waynesboro's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Staunton, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waynesboro will take on Charlottesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Staunton, they will face off against Riverheads at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gladiators will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Storm surely won't give up without a fight.
