Volleyball Recap: Norco Starts off Right with Win over Cornerstone Christian

Norco had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Cornerstone Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Olivia Nasar had 17 digs and one assist.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Norco has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Katella on the 18th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against California School for the Deaf-Riverside on the 19th.
