Volleyball Recap: Norco Starts Season with Victory Against Cornerstone Christian

Norco had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Cornerstone Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Olivia Nasar had 17 digs and one assist.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Norco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Katella on the 18th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against California School for the Deaf-Riverside on the 19th.
