Bishop Feehan won against Cardinal Spellman on Saturday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Shamrocks came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Mary's Spartans, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Shamrocks have posted since April 17th.

Bishop Feehan got a great performance from Jack Gasse as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. Gasse has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jake Webster, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Bishop Feehan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for St. Mary's, they moved to 12-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
