Basketball Recap: Ace Thomas Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Providence Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Carver, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 73-54 victory over the Providence Christian Academy Storm on Saturday.

Carver got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ace Thomas out in front who went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Montgomery, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points.

Carver's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Providence Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver will venture away from home to face off against Hardaway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will face off against Rabun County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
