Basketball Recap: Lakeland Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

New Dimensions came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Lakeland Christian, but DJ Howard wouldn't allow it. The Lakeland Christian Vikings put the hurt on New Dimensions with a sharp 65-40 win on Monday thanks in part to Howard, who went 7 of 11 en route to 22 points and seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lakeland Christian's points.

Another player making a difference was Levi Howell, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Those 14 points gave him a new career-high.

Lakeland Christian moved to 6-18 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for New Dimensions, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Lakeland Christian has already played their next contest (against Santa Fe Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Dimensions does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
