Burlington and Olpe are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burlington is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Seven must be Burlington's lucky number: they beat Labette County with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 7-4.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olpe). They were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over Northern Heights on Tuesday. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 31st (when they won 20-2).

Burlington's record is now 17-6. As for Olpe, their record now sits at 13-9.

Everything went Burlington's way against Olpe when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Burlington made off with a 20-1 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
