Softball Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

After flying high against Port Richmond last Friday, Wagner came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Tottenville Pirates on Wednesday, falling 10-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost seven in a row.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tottenville, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Wagner is taking a road trip to square off against Dewey at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tottenville, they will welcome Curtis at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
