Flag Football Recap: Upland's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

After flying high against Chino Hills last Tuesday, Upland came back down to earth. The Highlanders/Scots fell 20-14 to the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars on Monday. The Highlanders/Scots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 27-0.

Although Upland took the loss, they still got scores from Isabella Botello and Arianna Velazquez.

Even if they lost, Upland's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Siena Gorman was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two herself. She has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times she's played.

Upland's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for Rancho Cucamonga, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

Upland has already played their next contest, a 68-18 win against St. Lucy's on the 7th. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-12 victory against Los Osos on the 7th.
