Softball Recap: Norwood Gets the Win

Norwood took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Blanchester, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 11-10. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Norwood and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Blanchester, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8.

Norwood will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
