McDowell won the last time they faced Freedom and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1.

McDowell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.

McDowell's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Freedom, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDowell will square off against South Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freedom, they will face off against Watauga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
