Baseball Recap: Vision Comes Up Short

If Vision was riding high fresh off their 21-1 takedown of Idaho City on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Vision fell just short of the Parma Panthers by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Vision of the 18-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Dylan Warth was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged three or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Williams, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Vision's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Parma, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Vision is taking a road trip to square off against North Star at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Vision's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Parma, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against Emmett on the 1st.
