Softball Recap: East Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East can now relate to. They lost 17-3 to the Bonneville Lakers on Monday. The Leopards have struggled against the Lakers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

East saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amaiah Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Bonneville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-16.

East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bonneville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-1 loss against Box Elder on the 15th.
