Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Mather's Third in Last Four Outings

The Mather Rangers were able to grind out a solid win over the Clark Eagles on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0.

Mather easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16.

Mather is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mather will square off against rival Ogden International at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Clark is set to face off against their familiar foe Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and the Tigers a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
