Even though the Holy Family Tigers scored an imposing 63 points on Friday, the Vista PEAK Prep Bison still came out on top. Vista PEAK Prep narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Holy Family 66-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Vista PEAK Prep.

Vista PEAK Prep had a senior duo take command as Alante Monroe-Elazier scored 24 points and James Brown III scored 21 points. The game was Monroe-Elazier's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Carrizales, who scored ten points.

Vista PEAK Prep's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.36 points. As for Holy Family, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.

Vista PEAK Prep will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rangeview at 7:00 p.m. As for Holy Family, they will head out on the road to face off against Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Silver Creek is ranked 23rd, while Holy Family is ranked 39th).
