Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cannon Falls). They blew past the Chatfield Gophers 97-58 on Monday. The Bombers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Cannon Falls' victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Chatfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cannon Falls won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lourdes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cannon Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Lourdes likes a good challenge. As for Chatfield, they and Fillmore Central will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
