While Moanalua put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Castle. The Menehune blew past the Knights 19-0. The win continues a trend for the Menehune in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.
Kaylah Sato was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-4. Those home runs marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Alia Anzai, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Sato wasn't the only one making solid contact: Moanalua kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.
Moanalua's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Castle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
