Basketball Recap: Cross Keys Has No Trouble Against St. Mary's Academy

Cross Keys waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the St. Mary's Academy Bobcats by a score of 21-13. That eight point margin sets a new team best for the Phoenix this season.

Cross Keys can attribute much of their success to Marta Reyes, who shot 50% from the field en route to 12 points and eight rebounds. Jacqueline Rueda also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Cross Keys' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Mary's Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
