Softball Game Preview: Nelson County Governors vs. Parry McCluer Fighting Blues

The Nelson County Governors will challenge the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Nelson County fell victim to Buffalo Gap and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-0 to the Bison, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Governors haven't had much luck with the Bison recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 23 runs the game before, Parry McCluer was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to Eastern Montgomery.

Nelson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Parry McCluer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
