Recap: Central Christian Saints vs. South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights
In what's become a running theme this season, the Central Christian Saints gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Baldwin Christian Academy 69-31 on the road. That looming 69-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Central Christian yet this season.
Central Christian was led to victory by Gabe Gregory and Jarrod Harmon. Gregory scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Harmon scored 28 points along with six steals and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gregory has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Argo, who scored four points.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Central Christian, bringing their record for this year to 13-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Central Christian will head out on the road to square off against Santa Rosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Santa Rosa Christian: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Central Christian has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. South Baldwin Christian Academy will take on Atmore Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Atmore Christian is ranked 783rd, while South Baldwin Christian Academy is ranked 769th).
