            Softball Recap: PACT Charter Panthers vs. Mayer Lutheran Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            PACT Charter's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They walked away with  a   10-5  victory over the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Mia Sparre spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

 At the plate, PACT Charter let  Ella Ling and  Fayth Lindahl run wild. Ling  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI, while  Lindahl  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  Ling a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  June Tessum, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: PACT Charter  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
PACT Charter's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Mayer Lutheran, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Coming up, PACT Charter will challenge New Life Academy at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Mayer Lutheran, they will be playing at home against West Lutheran  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
