Softball Game Preview: Bibb County Choctaws vs. Paul W. Bryant Stampede

The Bibb County Choctaws will be taking part in a tournament against the Paul W. Bryant Stampede at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bibb County will head out to face Paul W. Bryant after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Bibb County took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Robertsdale.

Meanwhile, Paul W. Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Mae Jemison, falling 15-2. That's two games in a row now that the Stampede have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Paul W. Bryant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bibb County, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-7.

Everything went Bibb County's way against Paul W. Bryant when the teams last played back in April of 2017, as Bibb County made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bibb County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
